The AR-9 5.5" Side Charging LRBHO Pistol Cal Upper Assembly is the perfect solution for building a high-performance pistol-caliber AR-9 platform. Built with precision and reliability in mind, this complete upper is designed for users who want to maximize their AR-9 build's potential.

Key Features:

• Barrel:
  5.5" 9mm match-grade AR barrel made from 4150 Chrome Moly Steel with a Black Nitride finish. The 1:10 twist rate ensures stable and accurate shots, while the 1/2x36 muzzle threads allow for customization with muzzle devices. The barrel is finished off with an A2 flash hider for muzzle flash suppression.

• Side Charging Upper Receiver:
  The non-reciprocating side-charging upper receiver is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and finished with a matte black hard-coat anodizing per MIL 8625 Type 3 Class 2 for added durability. The receiver is Glock mag compatible and can accept most aftermarket parts. It also features an adjustable tension slide lock on the charging handle and a rear dust cover trap door that seals shut when mated with the lower, keeping debris out.

• Gas System:
  Blowback gas system for enhanced reliability and simplicity in the AR-9 configuration.

• Handguard:
  4" lightweight, free-floating MLOK rail, made from aircraft-quality aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodizing. It provides excellent customization options for accessories while maintaining a lightweight profile.

• Bolt Carrier Group (BCG):
  The included AR-9 9mm ramped BCG is Glock and Colt compatible, milled from US-made 8620 steel with a mag phosphate finish. Precision milled for Glock-style MA-9 lower receivers (or traditional AR-15 lowers with a mag adapter), this BCG is also M-16 cut and suitable for transferable full-auto MGs (all BATFE rules apply).

• Assembly:
  The upper assembly is fully assembled and tested, ensuring a hassle-free installation when paired with your lower receiver. Please note, slight variations in the rail design may occur based on stock availability, but rest assured, all components maintain the same exceptional quality.
