Upper looks good. No problems cycling. Only small complaints is the fee float forend screws were not tight. Looks good shoots good.

I am impressed with the fit and finish of this upper. Rifle shot 5/8 inch three shot groups back to back. . 2.25 inch at 200. Way better than I expected. Keep up the good work

This complete upper is fantastic. It’s a joy to shoot and looks just as nice. Absolutely a masterpiece for the price - you won't be disappointed! You can officially stop reading and purchase now!

I initially had feeding issues even when cycling by hand (bolt wouldn't quite get to battery and was too far out to use FA yet). After some research I discovered this is a common issue for the duramags (Ruger reboxes duramag). I cut down the front wall of my 5rd mag (for IA deer) to about twice as much. Sighting in my scope, every fmj fed flawlessly and was accurate. The feed ramps on the upper I received were perfect and had zero burrs or defects. I can almost bet that 95+% of the issues out there for this cartridge are magazine related or was a knock off company that used the wrong feed ramps. Rest assured that Moriarti uses 300 blackout ramps that are flawless and work as you would expect! Moriarti has gained another lifetime customer!

I also received mine about a month after ordering. I finally had time last night to fit it up to my existing lower. Installed my current bcg and made sure it engaged fully before installing the charging handle. I do not have head space gauges but it appeared everything was in check. Checked the takedown pins and they were easy to push/pull out yet the fit was just right snug. This upper looks beautiful and I was suprised that it feels lighter than my 5.56 16" upper.

I have a few more things I want to check over on it yet before sending rounds down it, but I do not have any doubts, and the fit/finish is worth your wait! It was hard for me to be patient, but after holding it and assembling it, it was well worth it. Excited to get it to the range and for deer season this year in IA! For reference, mine came with a plain dust port cover, but since its my hunting gun, that's all it needs - but the other one sounds like it would look really cool!

Wow! Amazing fit and finish. The black on the upper matched my lower perfectly. Have shot it yet. Will update when I do.
