This drop-in 6.5 Grendel Type 2 upper will attach to virtually any standard AR-15 lower assembly. Available in 416R Stainless Steel threaded barrels with 1 and 8" twist and rifle length slim mlok free float handguards. This twist rate is optimal for the shooter using today's popular heavier bullets. The free float handguard reduces the chance of accuracy-reducing pressure. 

Barrel - 24" 416R stainless steel bull barrel. Hardened to 26-32 rc and stress relieved.  Chambered in 6.5 Grendel Type 2 (true 6.5 Grendel chambering). 1-8 rh twist. .750 stele gas block. Threaded 5/8x24. M4 feedramps. Rifle gas system. Barrel is finished off with a thread protector. 

A3 flat top upper receiver - made from certified 7075-t6 aluminum forgings. Black hardcoat anodized to Gov. Specs. Forward assist and dust cover installed. M4 feedramps.

Gas system - .750 low profile gas block, made from steel and nitride coated. Rifle length gas tube.

Handguards - 15" Rifle-length mlok free float rail. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and black hard coat anodized.

PLEASE NOTE THIS BARREL IS COMPATABLE WITH .136" FACE DEPTH BOLTS (WILL NOT WORK WITH STANDARD 7.62x39).
