AR-15 5.56/.223 16" Stainless Straight Fluted Modular Upper Assembly / Bull / Mlok is offered exclusively by Moriarti Armaments. The upper receiver is considered one of the core components of your core 5.56 rifle. The stainless steel finish of the 16 barrel and straight fluting add to its aesthetic appeal. The barrel has a twist rate of 1:8, and can stabilize both lighter and heavier rounds for optimal accuracy. It's a modular design, which allows for the easy attachment and detachment of various accessories, based on the operator’s requirements. Mlok compatible rails give more flexibility for attaching grips, lights, or other accessories, helping you customize your rifle to fit your specific needs.
The upper receiver features:
Barrel - 16" 416 stainless steel bull contour barrel with straight fluting. Hardened to 26-32 rc and stress relieved. Chambered in 5.56 nato (also accepts .223 rem rounds). 1-8 rh twist 6 groove button rifled, .936 under gas block. Target crowned - not threated. M4 feedramps.
A3 flat top upper receiver - made from certified 7075-t6 aluminum forgings. Black hardcoat anodized and teflon coated to gov. specs. Forward assist and dust cover installed. M4 feedramps.
Gas system - low profile 936 gas block made from steel for maximum strength. Carbine length stainless steel gas tube.
Handguards - 12" slim profile Mlok in anodized black. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and blue hardcoat anodized.
