AR-15 6.5 Grendel 16" diamond fluted stainless steel upper assembly This drop-in 6.5 Grendel Type 2 upper will attach to virtually any standard AR-15 lower assembly. Available in 416R Stainless Steel threaded barrels or 4150 Steel with 1 and 8" twist and slim mlok free float handguards. This twist rate is optimal for the shooter using today's popular heavier bullets. The free float handguard reduces the chance of accuracy-reducing pressure.
Barrel - 16" 416R stainless steel hbar barrel, diamond fluted. Hardened to 26-32 rc and stress relieved. Chambered in 6.5 Grendel Type 2 (true 6.5 Grendel chambering). 1-8 rh twist. .750 under gas block. Threaded 5/8x24. M4 feedramps. Carbine gas system. Barrel is finished off by triport muzzle brake.
A3 flat top upper receiver - made from certified 7075-t6 aluminum forgings. Black hardcoat anodized to Gov. Specs. Forward assist and dust cover installed. M4 feedramps.
Gas system - .750 low profile gas block, made from steel, nitride coated. Carbine length gas tube.
Handguards - 12" free float slim Mlok rail. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and black hard coat anodized.
Does not come with BCG or Charging Handle. Can be purchased separately.
