AR-15 6.5 Grendel 22" stainless steel competition bull upper assembly. This drop-in upper will attach to virtually any standard AR-15 lower assembly. Available in 416R Stainless Steel threaded fluted bull barrels, with 1 and 8.5" twist and rifle keymod free float handguards. This twist rate is optimal for the shooter using today's popular heavier bullets. The free float handguard reduces the chance of accuracy-reducing pressure.
Barrel - 22" 416 stainless steel fluted bull barrel. Hardened to 26-32 rc and stress relieved. Chambered in 6.5 Grendel Type 2. 1-8.5 rh twist. .936 under gas block. Threaded 5/8x24. M4 feedramps. Rifle gas system. Barrel is finished off by a muzzle brake.
A3 flat top upper receiver - made from certified 7075-t6 aluminum forgings. Black hardcoat anodized to Gov. Specs. Forward assist and dust cover installed. M4 feedramps.
Gas system - .936 low profile gas block, made from aircraft quality aluminum. Rifle length gas tube.
Handguards - 15" rifle-length MLOK free float rail. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and black hard coat anodized. Rails may differ in design, based on stock availability, the same excellent quality.
Does not come with BCG or Charging Handle. Can be purchased separately. This upper uses a true 6.5 Grendel .136 depth bolt.
