The AR-40 8" Slick Side LRBHO Pistol Cal Complete Upper Assembly in .40 S&W is designed for those seeking a compact and powerful addition to their MA-9 Glock-style lower receiver. Key Features:

• Barrel: The 8" .40 S&W match-grade AR barrel is crafted from 4150 chromoly steel and finished with a black nitride treatment for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. With a 1:16 twist rate and 5/8-24 muzzle brake threads, this barrel is topped off with a classic A2 flash hider to reduce flash signature and improve shooting comfort.

• Upper Receiver: This slick side billet upper receiver is made from 7075-T6 aircraft billet aluminum, offering a durable and lightweight build. It features a black hardcoat anodized finish that meets MIL-8625 Type 3 Class 2 standards, ensuring long-lasting performance. The receiver is fully compatible with all AR-15, AR-9, and AR-45 MILSPEC components.

• Gas System: Featuring a blowback gas system, this upper is designed to handle pistol caliber rounds with no need for feed ramps, allowing for smoother operation in .40 S&W chamberings.

• Handguards: The 7" lightweight free-floating M-LOK rail is crafted from aircraft-quality aluminum and finished with a black hardcoat anodized treatment for maximum durability and aesthetics.

• Bolt Carrier Group (BCG): The AR-40 .40 S&W 10mm ramped BCG is precision-machined from US-made 8620 steel with a mag phosphate finish. It is Glock and Colt compatible and designed for use with Glock-style MA-9 lower receivers or traditional AR-15 lowers with a mag adapter. The M-16 cut allows for use in transferable full-auto MGs and dealer post-sample MGs (subject to BATFE rules).

• Charging Handle: A standard AR-15 charging handle is included, providing smooth operation and ease of use.
