AR-15 5.56/.223 16" black diamond modular bull upper assembly is offered exclusively by Moriarti Armaments. The upper receiver features:

Barrel - 16" 416 stainless steel bull contour barrel with black diamond fluting. Hardened to 26-32 rc and stress relieved.  Chambered in 5.56 nato (also accepts .223 rounds). 1-9 rh twist 6 groove button rifled, .936 under gas block. Target crowned - not threaded. M4 feedramps.

A3 flat top upper receiver - made from certified 7075-t6 aluminum forgings. Black hardcoat anodized and teflon coated to gov. specs. Forward assist and dust cover installed. M4 feedramps.

Gas system - low profile gas block made from stainless steel for maximum strength. Carbine length gas system.

Handguards -  12" mid-length free floating slim mlok handguard. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and black hardcoat anodized. Handguard is a straight cut.
