The AR-40 10.5" Side Charging LRBHO Pistol Cal Complete Upper Assembly in .40 S&W is designed to offer unmatched performance for your custom AR build. This upper is crafted with a non-reciprocating side charging billet upper receiver, complete with Last Round Bolt Hold Open (LRBHO), ensuring your weapon locks back after the last round is fired. It’s the perfect addition to your MA-9 Glock Style lower receiver.

With a 10.5-inch match-grade barrel made from 4150 chrome-moly steel, a black nitride finish, and a 1:16 twist rate, this upper is engineered for reliability and precision. The .578x28 muzzle brake threads allow for the installation of the included linear compensator, which reduces recoil and muzzle rise for smoother shooting.

This blowback gas system (no feed ramps) is ideal for pistol-caliber AR builds and ensures reliable cycling, even under harsh conditions. The upper receiver is constructed from 6061 billet aluminum, hard-coat anodized per Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2, and offers compatibility with Glock mag AR-9/40/45 components, as well as most aftermarket parts.

The lightweight, free-floating 10" slim M-LOK rail provides a sleek, ergonomic platform for accessories, while the adjustable tension slide lock on the charging handle ensures smooth and consistent operation. The rear dust cover trap door seals tightly to prevent dirt and debris from entering when the upper is mated with your lower receiver.

The AR-40 .40 S&W 10mm ramped BCG is compatible with both Glock and Colt-style lowers and is precision-milled from US-made 8620 steel with a mag phosphate finish. The M-16 cut allows for use in transferable full-auto machine guns (all BATFE rules apply).
