The SMB™ AR-9 Sound Mitigation Buffer™ is an advanced, single-stage captured buffer system designed to enhance the operation of your AR-9. This drop-in replacement for your standard buffer and spring ensures a smooth and quiet operation by preventing the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube.

By reducing felt recoil, the SMB™ AR-9 improves comfort and control during shooting, allowing for a more enjoyable and efficient experience. The adjustable spring weight gives you the option to fine-tune the tension, with the ability to reduce it up to 12 coils (at 0.25lbs per coil), providing a more customized recoil management system.

The SMB™ AR-9 Sound Mitigation Buffer™ is built with quality materials and is made in the U.S.A. for reliability and performance. It's specifically designed for use in 9mm rifles and pistols, though please note that for proper function, any extra weight on the back of the bolt carrier needs to be removed.
