AR-15 300 ACC Blackout 7.5" Barrel, 1-7 twist, Med Profile, Nitride - Nitride treatment for barrels is a process that enhances the strength, durability, and corrosion resistance of gun barrels. It is a heat treating process that diffuses nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a hard, wear-resistant layer known as the case.  Nitride treatment offers many benefits, such as increased accuracy, better resistance to wear and tear, easier cleaning, and improved lifespan of the barrel. This treatment also provides excellent resistance against rust, which can degrade the performance of the barrel over time.
