Will a .243 upper fit a .223 / AR-15 lower?
No. .243 Winchester is based on the .308 case, so it needs a large-frame AR-10 lower. Our .243 uppers are built for Moriarti and DPMS-pattern (LR-308) low-profile lowers. Large-frame ARs are not fully standardized, so verify your lower pattern before ordering.
What twist rate do your .243 uppers use?
All of our .243 Win barrels use a 1:8 twist, which stabilizes light varmint bullets as well as heavy 100-105 grain hunting and match bullets.
Do I need an FFL to buy a .243 upper?
