What is included in an AR-15 kit?

Most AR-15 kits include the major components needed to complete an upper assembly and firearm build, such as the upper receiver assembly, barrel, handguard, gas system, stock or brace, lower parts, and related hardware. A lower receiver is not included and must be purchased separately through a licensed FFL dealer where required.
