Molon Labe Engraved Stripped AR-15 Upper Receiver – 7075-T6 Forged

These look very nice and hold up pretty good; however, the rifle mine came with ultimately sheered the handle and screw off in just a couple shots. I pulled the gun apart and with all standard lower parts, the tapped hole for the screw was halfway past the end of the milled receiver slot pulled back to full recoil distance. This caused damage at the rear end of the milled slot in the receiver, left a screw piece in the tapped hole of my bolt (which of course was a 7.62x39 bolt which is hard to get for left charging) and lost my brand new charging handle in the grass out in a field somewhere.. I was not amused... Months later I'd like to purchase a new, undamaged one, but they're out of stock... Have been for about 5 months now. I would recommend this but please make sure your slot is long enough for your recoil stroke or you'll end up like me.

HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE...MY ONLY QUESTION IS HOW STRONG IS THE SCREW THAT HOLD THE CHARGING KNOB ON THE BCG...OF COURSE I AM NOT IN AFGHANISTAN PUSHING THE HARDWARE TO THE LIMIT.... LOOKING FORWARD TO BYING ANOTHER ONE WHEN THEY ARE BACK IN STOCK.....B.K.
