What do I need to run a 7.62x39 upper?

A standard mil-spec AR-15 lower, a 7.62x39 bolt carrier group with the larger 7.62x39 bolt face, and AR-15 pattern 7.62x39 magazines. A standard 5.56 bolt and magazines will not work.

Why might I get light primer strikes?
